I have seen snow in the city only a few times since I have moved to the West Coast. Being from the East Coast, and the North East Coast at that, I am very used to the snow. I was actually born during the worst snow storm the East Coast had seen in 100 years. The Blizzard of ’73 left more snow on the ground that any other storm that came through Ct. in many years.
There where times that we had so much snow fall that the doors and garage of our house would not be able to be opened. We would have to climb out the windows of our house and shovel the snow away to make our escape.
So we get about 1/789,238,677 that amount of snow here in Vegas. I did get to see about 1/32 of an inch this year. If you ever long to see and play in the snow there is always Mt. Charleston, and Utah os not too far of a drive from here. I want to go to the snow this year but I don’t think it’s in the cards this year again. Too much going on with the baby coming and all the work at the office. We’ll see!
