MySpace

I’m not the biggest fan of MySpace but it has helped me meet with quite a few interesting people. The ratio of idiots to cool people on there is getting better again and I think we are going to create another profile to reflect our new shows that we are doing on Link The Planet.

I used to love MySpace when it was first fun and easy to get lost looking for cool people that had the same interests as us … but now with all the cam bots on there it has become harder and harder to find real people. What is the internet coming to that you can’t go online and just seek out new friends or find people that share the same interests as you?

There are some serious stalkers on MySpace also. We get them everyday. These are the lowest of the low idiots that are seriously the next jail bound wave of morons that can’t get a real date. Remember when they where stalking teachers that had MySpace Pages? That was insane. You couldn’t even work in relation to a school without being looked at for ahving a page on MySpace. Some of those teachers where doing legitimate things on MySpace but it’s always the few screw ups that ruin it for everyone else.

I don’t mind the stalkers that are my friends checking out my page because I don’t update it enough to make a difference. I have a blog .. several!! But I even had to go so far as to set my profile page to private so that no one would be able to see anything about me that wasn’t my friend. Thats just sad that we can’t have a cool social website to go to and hang out and chat chit with our friends.
