iPhone Review For Real This Time

OK … so I went out last night and got me an iPhone. I was forced to do it by Chelle who insisted on getting a new phone for herself and so we went changed my contract with AT&T since it was up anyway and we both are on there now and with new phones. Woot! Here is my perception of the iPhone.

This has to be the greatest phone in the world. I will tell you why …

PROS:

• 8 GIGs for all kinds of songs, photos and videos
• Sleek style, sexy look
• Touch Screen Technology
• No Hassle Setup
• Easy to navigate, if you know MACs
• Comes Complete and Ready to go
• Safari Internet Browsing
• Set up EMail
• Takes Awesome Pics

Um …. those are some cool things but I tell you that it only takes one or two things to make a phone “not worth it” and these actually are some pretty good things.

CONS:

• No GPS (Google Maps is NOT GPS)
• Can NOT send Pics via SMS
• Can’t Take Videos
• Email is a little slow but works
• No Flash and No JAVA Support in the Browser
• No IM with AIM, Yahoo, Etc.
• Customer service is non existent (I bought this phone at 5:30pm PST last night Dec. 6th, it has a dead pixel on the screen and I can not exchange it or have it replaced without paying another $40 at AT&T or $29.99 at Apple. I just bought it .. yesterday?!?!?!?!? WTF???)

There are more and I will add them as I get used to the damn thing. Am I glad I spent the money for the iPhone? No not really. Would I return it for a lesser phone? No, defiantly not. It is a cool phone and most likely the greatest phone for mobile use ever thought up. We are all slaves to Steve Jobs now …. !
