We are looking into getting some new windows and doors in our house. The back door can definitely use an upgrade and the windows are a little out of date. IF this was our house that we owned 100% I would say lets do it right now but we are not fully into the house yet so we are negotiating with the current owners to get the house fixed up before we move in completely. We really like the house and want to make it a home for our kids. There are nice schools around here and the kids really like the fact that we live 20 feet from the largest park in the city. They have a pool.

I notices that on this site I linked you above there that the home improvement is not as hard as it would seem. You can actually buy a lot of the supplies you need and do it yourself and save a ton of money. I have always been a big fan of do it yourself. Taking the time to learn new things and doing them right the first time can save a bit of headache and keep more money in your wallet. That is always a god thing .. right!!?!
