The boys wanted to go to the park again this weekend. I have to say that I don’t blame them one bit. Everyone was there with their bikes and skateboards and a few kids dug out their old scooters and where getting their grind on. When the weather in Vegas permits us we get out and get to the park.

When will a dependence racket the young cathedral? Who knows. But one thing is for sure …. at Desert Breeze you can always find some kids seeing who has the best stunts and who can jump the highest. The boys are no exception. Q actually got both tires off the ground on his tank of a bike. I don’t know why he doesn’t take out his lighter more suited bike when we go but I bet it has something to do with the size of the thing. To him I bet that bike looks like a truck.

Hopefully he will get a little bigger this year and be able to actually take on a few of those half pipes he has been so carefully avoiding. Javi looks up to his big bro. You can tell that he wants to be just like Quinn. He takes his little Spider Man scooter and pushes instead of rides all over the park following big brother and trying to get his turn on the jump. I can’t wait to see what the two of them do when they get a little older and braver! We shall see!!

Recently I was contacted by a very old and dear friend. The time that has gone by is well over the limit of time that anyone should wait to get in contact with a friend of such standings. I can hardly believe that after 15 years I was back in contact with this person. That seems like a long time to go with out talking to someone then all of a sudden BAM they are back in your life just like that.

Seems that this friend (yes they must remain undisclosed for safety’s sake) has been thinking about me in the same ways that I was thinking about them.

I recently have had this person on my mind a great deal. Seems like a little bit of a coincidence but that’s not as important as the BIG Question!?!?!?

I often asked myself that if I were to get in contact with any of my friends from childhood if I would want to or be able to reconnect with them. Honestly I still haven’t a good answer for that question.

You would think that if you had the opportunity to get in touch with someone that you were really close to that you would jump at the chance right? Well what if there was a bit of bad blood surrounding the situation at the time of last contact or what if you just lost contact with that person because you moved or they moved out of reach for everyday contact?

In this case is the moving and distance as well as age and ability to connect across the continent.

I’m very glad that my buddy got in touch with me but I want to consult the higher intelligence on this one. What do you think? Is this doomed right from the start or is there a good chance for a good or at least pleasant reconnection?

Guess where they found me …….. Guess!! A PAID SEARCH site that tells a little more that I had hoped would ever be available about my life. THAT is the scary part of this all. The site she used TOLD ALL even down to possible roommates that I may have had over the years. How does anyone know that really? Kinda I get it but DAMN that is some crazy stuff. It’s not so private out there after all now is it?

I’m dealing with several right now and the worst of them all is the addiction to helping others. I have taken time out of my days for the past few months to help out a friend that seemingly will not take help as it should be received. If you need help from someone who knows more about a particular subject than you do then take that advice. Use that advice and don’t push it aside when that person trying to help you is not around.

Telling someone “Thank You” when they help you out and or saying “I understand” and “You are right” means that you DO get what they are saying and you WILL do what they are advising you to do. NOT take the advice and simply push it aside after they are done helping you and do it your way just to ask them to come back and help you fix it again to put things back to the way they left it in the first place.

These are the people that are addicted to screwing up a good thing. They see that what they are asking for is being worked out and on the flip of a switch they are taking for granted the good advice and help they ASKED for in the first place. STOP SCREWING UP WHAT YOU WANT FIXED WHEN IT IS LEFT FIXED.

I wanted to make a Favicon.ico for a friends site this morning and I am not sure if the icon is showing. I did everything right I’m sure of that but still no icon. I used one of those easy to use icon generator sites, Favicon.co.uk. They seemed to have the easiest one to use and not being one for hassle on the web their site was fast and easy.

But still no icon on the site I made if for … ?
