Blog TV

I found this new site called Blog TV. I was invited to do a show on there last night and WOW what a …. interesting time that was. I have been on plenty of those “Video Chat” sites where people can interact and see you on video, and most of them offer you a chance to see the other person that you are talking to as well. On Blog TV you get to put on your own show. You can create your own channels and log on, then people see you and can hear what you are saying and if they are logged in to Blog TV they can ask you questions or comment to you by typing in the chat room.

For the most part this is a pretty good idea. Who ever came up with this Blog TV concept, good job. Now there are a few other sites that you can do the same if you want to host your own show. However …. Being on Blog TV means no nudity and no partial nudity. That said … last night was insane. We hit the top of the chart pretty quickly with over 120 viewers in just a few minutes. Thats not bad for our first night on and live. There is only one problem that I see so far, and that is the amount of perverts that are on and registered to Blog TV. There must be a system in place to eliminate the perverts and here is my suggestion. I know there are MODs in the rooms while you are doing a show. That is a good start. But … if there can be no rude and crude content on the shows MODs … then lets watch not only for the shows hosts and their content … but lets watch and block the idiots that are making comments and requests for said content. Just a thought.

We will not be doing another Blog TV show until there is a system in place that better allows us to boot idiots. I guess that the one in place now where you can block them from the room is a good call but there needs to be something that keeps them from going to another show and doing the same things. It was very difficult to have a show last night with all the requests for nudity and the rude comments when we would not comply. We really like Blog TV though and they are going in a great direction, but that was not as much fun as it should have been.
